Healthy Dog Food
Generally nowadays all dog food is healthy to an extent as it had to be in order to reach the correct standards. However there are some that stand out from the crowd and which I would much rather feed to my dog, Mathilde.
I currently feed my dog Hill’s food which she loves. The product is called Hill’s Prescription Diet Canine j/d Mini which is for adult dogs of a smaller breed. It is the same formula as the regular j/d which helps aching joints and mobility problems, but with smaller kibble which is easier for Mathilde to manage. One of my friends also sings Hill’s praises as she uses it for her pooch, Frankie, who has an allergy to wheat. According to her, he also loves the taste and it works perfectly!
Recently, I have heard a lot of good things about James Wellbeloved products. It seems as though their foods have it all. For example, the Turkey and Rice is hypoallergenic and the turkey, being a white meat, is naturally healthy. It also includes linseed for the coat, oats for energy, natural vitamins C and E and seaweed and alfalfa for essential nutrients. What more could you want! Well, on top of this, it claims to stop loose bowels, soothes skin irritations and is easy to digest. I guess there’s only one thing to do: try it! I’m hoping Mathilde will be well enough to try this sometime in the near future as I am so intrigued as to how this can affect your dog’s health for the better.
Another brand I’ve been hearing good things about is Naturediet. The great thing about this brand is that it can be used for almost all ages so if they love it, they can have it for quite a while! Of course it includes all the vital nutrients and it is also suitable for dogs with sensitivities.
